On Friday, January 25 NWT Swimming and the Yellowknife Polar Bear Swim Club hosted a special training camp for potential 2008 North American Indigenous Games swimmers. Athletes from Fort Smith, Hay River, Fort Providence, Yellowknife and Inuvik participated in the event which featured a special training opportunity to prepare swimmers for the NWT Swimming Championships that weekend and for the North American Indigenous Games in August.
