Officials Training and Certification

Officials are an important part of making sure our swimmers have a quality experience in competitive swimmng. During local time trials and swim meets the Club typically requires 20 - 25 officials as timers, stroke and turn judges, starter and other positions. Parents and others are encouraged to help out. Training and support are provided through a series of on line presentations supported by Swim Alberta and on deck mentoring provided by our experienced officials. The complete training and certification process for Levels 1 - 5 are outlined below.
